Adaptive ski lessons are available for both children and adults and can be scheduled for anytime. Call in advance to make arrangements for a three-hour private lesson that includes a lift ticket, equipment (mono and bi skis are available to accommodate all disabilities), and an instructor. The Mifflin group meets Wednesdays 10 am-2 pm at the Mifflin-Juniata Special Needs Center and the Lewistown and Juniata County group meets on Thursdays from 10am-2pm. The Messiah Lutheran Church in Mifflintown. The program runs from September to May.

Adult recreation is a socialization group that provides a time for fun, games, and other activities for anyone 21 and over. They meet in Mifflin County on the third Tuesday of every month and in Juniata County the second Tuesday of every month, usually at 7:00 pm. The program runs from September to May.

This camp is specifically designed for children grades 4-11 that are diagnosed with epilepsy. The camp is held at Camp Fitch on Lake Erie. Campers will have the opportunity to play volleyball, basketball, soccer, and go hiking and fishing while being supervised by EFWCP counselors and Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh medical staff.

This program starts in June and runs for 7 weeks. It has a pre-school/ elementary bridge program, as well as an adult program. The preschool program involves going on field trips and keeping up with skills taught in school. The adult program is community based and typically includes going on outings to baseball games, movies, and picnics. A referral from the Juniata River Center/ Base Service Unit is required.
